My Greg Grunberg Interview is Done!
My first interview is complete!
This afternoon, I had the chance to speak with Greg Grunberg of NBC’s Heroes, and Dr. Brien Smith, Medical Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan . While we were on the telephone, I was able to see them live in the studio on my computer.
I am extremely honored that Greg and Dr. Smith both took the time to speak with me, but I’d also like to say a very special thank you to Epilepsy Advocate, a community of people whose lives are directly impacted by epilepsy, including those with epilepsy, their caregivers, friends and family. Beginning in 2006 with 18 Advocates, the Epilepsy Advocate community has grown to over 60. Nearly 7,000 people have participated in more than 160 events across the U.S. and Epilepsy Advocate magazine is widely read in the epilepsy community. My interview with Greg Grunberg and Dr. Smith was made possible thanks to Epilepsy Advocate!
Here’s the video from my interview!

Greg Grunberg Epilepsy Awareness Interview Tomorrow!
Yesterday was extremely exciting because I received an email asking if I was interested in participating in a blogger media tour to interview Greg Grunberg, star of NBC’s “Heroes” and father of a son with epilepsy.
As you know, I totally dig Greg, especially since he is an epilepsy advocate that has been chairperson of the National Walk for Epilepsy in Washington, DC each time I have participated. I even got my photo taken with him in 2009.
Once the initial shock of this invitation wore off and I picked my jaw up off the floor, I made the necessary phone calls and got all the details to participate.
So anyway, tomorrow I will get to speak with Greg and Dr. Brien Smith on the telephone for 10 minutes. I will be able to watch them live in a studio while we are on the phone, and I will be able to post that video here on ShortHairDiva for you all to see!
P.S. Another bonus- was the pilot of Oceanic 815 on Lost for crying out loud, and he plays the drums in the Band from TV! Eeeeek!
